Celebrity: Roma Jain – Designer.
Hello all, I am Roma, young, fun loving enthusiast, I completed my fashion designing other than that I have done three fashion shows till date and also designed for a telugu movie. Other than designing I like to cook and dance but overall I am a bindass person to be with!
First Take:
After completing my intermediate, my parents wanted me to do C.A, so for their convenience, I did wrote the CPT exam, but then I realized that I should be doing something different and I choose to be a fashion designer and joined. Yes it was by my choice, in the beginning it was bit difficult but it was amazing, all sketching, painting, designs, stitching etc
What does Roma Jain likes?
I love designing traditional wear, or bridal wear, and I know, these days everyone want to be the best out there, so my plan is to design Indian traditional with a pinch of western mix. I love to do western designs but Indian traditional is my favourite, as I think girl looks Beautiful when she is wearing a traditional dress.
What's next Roma, Film industry or sole proprietorship?
As of now I am doing my internship to gain more experience, later I would like to open up my own boutique, it’s not like I specifically want to design only for films but also for every single individual, as everyone around the world want to look good, and I want to give them that.
Who would Roma want to see as the super show stopper of her show?
For everyone their parents are their superstars, so I would definitely want my parents to be my superior show stoppers, later then, I want Shahid Kapoor as I am a very big fan of him, and coming to ladies I would like Bipasha Basu and Dia Mirza.
Who inspires Roma?
As I said, parents are my first priority as my showstoppers, they are the first ones to inspire me, but coming to designers my personal favourite is Sabyasachi Mukherji (Kolkata). Very difficult to design like him, but if I get a chance 2 impress him; I would love to do an Indian saree for him.
Word of advice:
This monsoon, prefer thicker fabric material as it will also keep you warm. My personal favourite for monsoon is Capri pants teamed with tank tops; I think it is the best for the season. Coming to footwear Slippers and sandals should be waterproof and airy i.e. they should be almost open to let the feet enjoy the ecstasy of the air breeze and the rain drops. High heels will be preferred as a daily wear to prevent from rainwater logged in outdoors. Although long boots are suggested to wear while you are out in the rain.
