Who
is Nidhi Mekala?
Hello everyone, this is
Nidhi, till now I have done only one short film “Ammaintiki Daredi” co-starring
Ashok Verdean. When I was in 10th I participated in MISS GUNTUR
competition, I was scared to see all elder girls over there, but luckily I got
selected and also I won, later I was select for Best Photogenic face of Andhra
Title, and then I won again, I was in 11th at that time, and again
in 12th I won the Fresh Look 2014, it was like written in my fate to
win it all.
First Take:
After winning
the fresh look 2014 I was offered with Ammaintiki Daredi, and luckily even that
worked out very well, it was fun to work with Ashok and our beloved director,
Harsha Annavarapu, I felt very comfortable to work with them. Harsha Annavarapu
is kind of a typical director, he rarely compliments anyone, but on shoots I
had loads of compliments which boosted me a lot, if I ever have to thank anyone
for acting, first will be Harsha then my ashok brother, he thought me many
things and he is very sincere at work.
What’s next for Nidhi then?
After the
successful Ammaintiki Daredi, I was offered with, Naluguru Ammailatoh, Re Union
Day, Reverse Punch and NIDHI, a titular role. And about particular roles I want
to play? I don’t have any specification
on roles, I am here to just entertain people who are watching me, if anyone is
expecting a particular role or character from me, and if I am offered such
film, I would love to do it, after all this is all I am here for, if my
audience is satisfied with my work, am happy with that.
Would you experiment your look, if the character
demands?
Yes I will, if I
am offered to be a bride and I look like a school girl, that won’t work right?
If any character needs me to modify my looks then I will definitely do that.
Who is Nidhi on Sets?
I am very jovial
and fun loving person, if anyone is playing any prank on me, I too will join
them and laugh, I wouldn’t mind anyone playing pranks on me, but when it comes
to work, I am sincere. And no revenges on pranks and all. We all do it for fun
but few people might get hurt while we are having fun. I like having fun but up
to a certain limit.
Word of Advice:
I too am a new
comer, I am still a learner, and I want to be a learner always, I don’t want to
suggest anything to anyone or teach anyone anything, I just want to keep
learning and keep moving forward. But yet I don’t want to win the race, if I am
winning it, people will always keep on looking for another opponent or even a
new winner. But learners are always in sight and they keep learning things.
A Word for Chota Talkiez and Team?

Suggestion: Keep
in touch with audience and artists, and try to keep on posting something new to
interest people.

is the first time I agreed for an interview; Chota Talkiez is always my first
preference.
Comment: Why did
you guys take this long to take up an interview? You should have approached me
long ago, but it’s okay, better late than never, LOL :P
